Tareq Esmaeili won the Elite category of the National Cycling Championship organized by the Qatar Cycling Federation (QCF) here at the Dukhan on Friday. Moosa Khalfan and Ahmed Burdaini came second and third, respectively. In the junior category Mohammed Afif came first, while Abdulaziz Abdelrehman, Khalid Burdaini came second and third, respectively. In the cadet section Deigo Hossfeldt won the title, while Mohammad Jawdat came second and Abdelrahman Jarboua finished third.

On the occasion Qatar Cycling Federation and QP - Dukhan Operations organized third Cycle Race at Dukhan on Friday evening. The race was organsied in four age group categories for all Dukhan residents. The prizes were given away by Secretary-General of QCF Majed al Naimi, Board Member of QCF Mohammed Salem, and Head of Clubs Patrick Choueri. The bikes were supplied by QCF and all other arrangements at Dukhan were done by Rashid Ramadan. In addition to the above, sports bikes were given away as raffle prizes by the QCF. Rashid Ramadan on behalf of Dukhan Operations appreciated the event which was a souvenir to Dukhan by the Qatar Cycling Federation.
